You may noticed that earlier in all redmi 3G phone there was an option to set network 3G Only mode. Using this network mode we can get continues 3G connection in weak 3G signal conditions. With out this setting network may be switched to 2G mode and resulting a slow data connection. In new 4G redmi phone there is no option to set 4G only mode in network settings. Because of that your mobile will switch to 3G or 2G mode in weak 4G networks. It will result a very slow Internet Data Connection. To avoid this there is a small trick available in all redmi phone. Using this trick you can set your network in LTE Only (4G Only) mode and enjoy browsing in 4G mode without any interruption. You can follow the steps below to set your Redmi phone to 4G Only mode.
Step 1 > Go to
Setting and select
About Phone Option
Step 2 > Press
Internal Memory option 4 time
After pressing Internal Memory 4 times you will get a new menu Testing
Step 3 > Press
Phone Information1 or
Phone Information2
If your desired SIM is in slot 1 then press Phone Information1 else If your SIM in slot2 then press Phone Information2
Step 4 > Go to
preferred network type:
Step 5 > and Select
LTE Only.
Now your Redmi Phone is set to connect only LTE (4G) Network.
